LOVE IS THE WAY SERMON SERIES

By Father Goodrich, Pastor

Loving Those Nearest You: Friends & Family

SEPTEMBER 9

Love is a great and beautiful word, but how does that work in the day in and day out of life? Loving our families can be challenging and even our best friends can test the limits of our compassion. How is the way of love supposed to work with friends and family?

After the 10 am service, we’ll be offering a free festive lunch for all in attendance.

Loving Those Around You: Neighbors & Co-Workers

SEPTEMBER 16

Loving family, loving friends, ok. That seems at least reasonable to talk about. After all, family is family and in theory, we get to choose our friends. But what about the people we see regularly, but don’t fall into our family and friends category. How is the way of love supposed to work with neighbors and co-workers?

Loving Those Far From You: Ideologically & Geographically

SEPTEMBER 23

Perhaps the hardest people to relate to or to feel like you have anything in common at all or those who disagree with you and those who live in situations and places far removed from your everyday experience. How is the way of love supposed to work with those who are far from you ideologically and geographically?

Services start at 10:00 am every Sunday morning and are followed by refreshments.
Join us beforehand for Sunday School & Adult Education at 9:00 AM.

Each week opportunities for further conversation about the series topics will be made available on Wednesdays at 11am or 7pm.

All are welcome!
