Campus Ministry

Being a young adult is great and greatly challenging. It’s a time to figure out who you are, want you want, and what you believe in.

At St. John’s we actively welcome students, undergraduate and graduate, into our life. Students come to us from many faith backgrounds and none, so, please, “Come as you are!” In addition to hosting young adult dinners at local restaurants, study nights and other activities, we offer:

Music Scholars Program
Music scholars (focusing on praise, choral or organ), receive a scholarship toward their education as part of a program of learning sacred music (traditional and contemporary) and leading the congregation in worship.

Ministry Scholars Program
Ministry scholars, receive a scholarship toward their education as part of a program of self-reflection, leadership development, and exploration of ministry in all its facets.

Science Scholars Program
Science scholars participate in the life of the parish and surrounding community, organizing Science Sundays, guest speakers, and other opportunities to explore the intersection of science and faith.

Undergraduate and Graduate Internships for Academic Credit

Interns receive academic credit from their college, university, or seminary, while serving at St. John’s.
